Kelvin L. Lumpkin - Founding Senior Pastor/Teacher
Kelvin L. Lumpkin is a highly favored righteous man, anointed by God to make a specific vision a reality for Sarasota, Florida and its surrounding communities. God has equipped Reverend Lumpkin, the Founding Senior Pastor of Abundant Life Christian Center Ministries, with both spiritual and administrative abilities necessary to make God’s vision a reality.
Reverend Lumpkin accepted his assignment to minister the gospel while attending Bethune Cookman College, in Daytona Beach Florida. An accomplished musician, Reverend Lumpkin was selected as the musician for the college’s gospel choir. He has traveled extensively throughout the country in that capacity.
While obtaining his Accounting degree at Bethune Cookman, he Lumpkin served as an Associate Minister under the Leadership of Bishop Derrick Triplett, Pastor of Hope Fellowship, in Daytona Beach.
Retuning to his hometown, Sarasota, Florida, upon graduation, Reverend Lumpkin accepted a position as an accountant. He was quickly promoted to Administrator of a 105-bed Nursing Home Facility.
In 1999 Reverend Lumpkin was led by God to begin the Ministry now known as Abundant Life Christian Center. Pastor Lumpkin resigned as Nursing Home Administrator in 2000 to dedicate his full attention to the Ministry.
Pastor Lumpkin receives tremendous support from his Mother Reverend Delores Lumpkin and his Father Ernest Lumpkin.
